Mango Carrie 2lThe original Carrie tree was grown on the property of Laurence H. Zill in Boynton Beach, Florida and is believed to be a seedling of the popular Julie Variety. The fruit is small, averaging 250 grams, and ripens from mid season. At maturity it may be green to yellow, but the fruit doesn't develop red blush like other mangoes. The flesh is not fibrous, is orange and rich in flavour with a strong aroma. The fruit are highly resistant to fungal disease.

Fruits form prolifically in tight clusters and are harvested when still green however they do turn yellow-orange when fully ripe
