Purple Berry BowlThis listing is for one berry bowl. The berry bowl was hand made on the potters wheel from stoneware clay and holes cut while it was still wet to allow for air to flow through the contents. After the initial bisque firing, it was glazed in a deep purpley glaze which has white cascading down the sides of the bowl. 6. 5" in diameter and 4. 5" tall Holds 2 pints of berries (if not more) These bowls are not only great for berries, but also other produce.

The piece was hand-made on the potter’s wheel and glaze fired to cone 6 (over 2200 degrees F) in an electric kiln

it was glazed in my "sunshine yellow" glaze which is a bright yellow color with white cascading down the sides of the bowl

in a gas kiln to bring out the gold colors and opalescent nature

The glaze is a creamy buff color on the outside with my ice blue glaze on the inside and flowing over the outside with a black hand-painted dressage horse & rider
